Man shot in Englewood

A man was shot Saturday night in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 31-year-old was inside his vehicle when a van pulled up and someone inside fired shots at 8:01 p.m. in the 6100 block of South Justine, according to Chicago police.

He was shot in his shoulder and was taken by ambulance to the University of Chicago Medical Center where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Area South detectives were investigating.
