Man, 39, shot in leg in South Chicago

A 39-year-old man was shot in his left leg around 9:45 p.m. Saturday as he walked into a home in the 8600 block of South Marquette Avenue in South Chicago, according to the police, who said he was taken for treatment to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
