A man was shot Thursday afternoon in the Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.

At 3:51 p.m., the 20-year-old was standing in the 1000 block of East 73rd Street when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to his leg, police said. His condition was stabilized.
