A woman was shot Saturday night in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

The 32-year-old was standing in a vacant lot about 8:40 p.m. in the 4000 block of West Polk when the occupants of a gray Dodge Charger traveling east on Arthington fired shots in her direction, according to Chicago Police.

She was taken to Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound to her left arm, police said. Her condition was stabilized.
