Spa Week $50 deals are back

It’s back, Spa Week!

I don’t know who came up with the idea of Spa Week, but her name (such a great idea it must be from a woman 🙂 ) should be in the National Inventors Hall of Fame. (FYI, there is a real hall of fame and it is in Alexandria, Virginia.)

But I digress.

Next week (April 13-19) is Spa Week. It’s a great time to treat yourself to a massage, facial or other relaxing spa treatments for the flat rate of $50. Some places even give you a combination of services (for example, one of the deals at Kiva Salon at Macy’s is for a refresher facial and express manicure). Microdermabrasion, hair removal and lash tinting also are being offered at some locations. Oh, and BTW, I did see a Gentleman’s Facial being offered at the Chicago Cosmetic Institute, so it’s not just women who can participate.

They are available in the city and suburbs. Make your appointments now. They go fast.

Here’s the website to find out what salons and spas are participating and what they are offering.
