A bank was robbed Tuesday afternoon in west suburban Elmwood Park.

A male robbed the U.S. Bank branch just before 4 p.m. at 7312 W. Grand Ave., according to the FBI.

The suspect has since been taken into custody and charges against him was pending, according to FBI spokesman Garrett Croon.
