DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 13, 2013
In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.
In the afternoon, the President will travel to Capitol Hill to meet with the House Republican Conference. This meeting is closed press.
Also in the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will meet with Secretary of State Kerry in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.
Afterwards, the President will meet with CEOs to discuss cybersecurity, as a part of the Administration’s ongoing dialogue with the private sector regarding cybersecurity. The President will discuss efforts to address the cyber threat, including his recently signed Executive Order, and solicit the CEOs’ input on how the government and private sector can best work together to improve the nation’s cybersecurity. This meeting in the Situation Room is closed press.
Later, the President will host a meeting with business leaders on immigration reform and how it fits into his broader economic agenda. This meeting in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building is closed press.
The President and the Vice President will then meet with Treasury Secretary Lew in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.
In the evening, the President will deliver remarks and answer questions at the Organizing for Action dinner. There will be in-town travel pool coverage for remarks only.
