51 percent of Americans support $10.10 minimum wage, poll shows

A new Rasmussen Reports poll released today by Rasmussen Reports shows that Americans continue to be split on whether the national minimum wage should be raised.

The national phone survey found that 51 percent support increasing it to $10.10 an hour, which is virtually unchanged from February, when 50 percent supported it. Last July, support for a minimum wage hike reached a high of 61 percent.

The most recent poll shows 39 percent are opposed to a hike, while 9 percent are undecided.
