Jim Karp came back from opening week of fishing in northern Minnesota and found this giant morel, a sure sign the end is near.

But a good one to end on.

Morel of the Week, a celebration of finding morels around Chicago outdoors, runs on the Sun-Times outdoors page on Sundays when apt, generally through May.
