We knew Jimmy Butler and Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas were friends, but this is borderline obsession.

Butler showed off his absurd collective of Thomas jerseys during the first half of Sunday’s Super Bowl:

How did he decide which jersey to wear?

Butler is supposed to be with teammates in Charlotte in preparation for tomorrow night’s game against the Hornets, but instead a left knee strain kept him in Chicago.

Notice Butler’s wrapped knee in the photo.

Thomas and Butler – who grew up under similar circumstances – have formed a close friendship in the past year – even attending each other’s games when possible.

Thomas has one catch for eight yards and Denver leads Carolina 13-7 at the half.
