The Blackhawks have recalled defenseman David Rundblad from Rockford and sent forwards Bryan Bickell and Dennis Rasmussen to Rockford on the eve of their playoff opener against the St. Louis Blues.

Rundblad, 25, had two assists in nine games with the Blackhawks during the regular season. He played in five Stanley Cup playoff games last season and did not score, with a plus-2 rating. He played most of the season on loan to the ZSC Lions of Switzerland’s National League A. Rundblad scored two goals and four points in 10 games with Rockford.

Bickell, 30, who played on the Hawks’ 2010, 2013 and 2015 Stanley Cup championship teams, had no goals and two assists in 25 games with the Hawks, but spent most of the second half of the season with Rockford.

Rasmussen, 25, scored four goals and nine points in 44 games with the Hawks. He also scored seven goals and 14 points in 22 games with the IceHogs.
