A 17-year-old boy was shot early Thursday in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

He was shot in the shoulder about 5 a.m. in the 0-100 block of South Leamington, according to Chicago Police.

He took himself to Loretto Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said. He was being uncooperative with investigators.

Additional details were not immediately available early Thursday.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
