A man was stabbed outside a bar early Saturday in northwest suburban Ingleside.

The 30-year-old man got into an argument with someone in the parking lot of Tank Bar at 25526 W. Lake Shore Dr. Ingleside about 1:20 a.m., according to a statement from the Lake County sheriff’s office.

The other person pulled out a knife and stabbed the man multiple times, according to the sheriff’s office.

The victim was taken to Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital in Grayslake, then transferred to Condell Medical Center in Libertyville to undergo surgery for non-life-threatening wounds.

The stabbing was “not a random act,” according to the statement. Sheriff’s detectives are investigating.
