Seven people were injured in a three-vehicle crash involving a city street cleaning truck early Sunday on Lower Wacker Drive in the Loop.

About 2:25 a.m., a Streets and Sanitation mechanical street sweeper was in service in the right lane in the 0-100 block of East Lower Wacker Drive when it was rear-ended by a Chrysler Pacifica, according to Chicago Police.

The Pacifica then ricocheted into a Honda Accord, police said.

Seven people, including the male who was driving the Pacifica, suffered injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening in the crash, police said. They were all taken to Northwestern Memorial and Stroger hospitals.
