78-year-old woman missing since July located

A 78-year-old woman who had been missing from the South Side since July has been found.

Effie Miner had been reported missing from the area near the 800 block of East Hyde Park Boulevard since July, according to a missing person alert issued by Chicago Police Friday morning.

She has since been located, police said Friday afternoon.
