A 26-year-old man was shot Monday morning in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The man was walking on the sidewalk about 4:15 a.m. in the 3300 block of West Walnut when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police. He was shot in the left shoulder.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
