A 60-year-old man has been charged with dumping hazardous materials Nov. 17 in northwest Indiana.
Refugio Martinez, of Griffith, Indiana, was charged Monday with criminal recklessness, according to the Gary police, who said he dumped “items classified as containing hazardous materials” in the 7100 block of West Ninth Avenue.
