A man was seriously wounded in a shooting in the West Garfield Park neighborhood Friday afternoon.

The 30-year-old was shot at 12:31 p.m. in the 4400 block of Lexington, according to Chicago Police. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition with gunshot wounds to the hip and knee.
