Man seriously wounded in Gresham shooting

A 35-year-old man was seriously wounded in a shooting early Saturday in the South Side Gresham neighborhood.

He was in a park about 12:25 a.m. in the 7600 block of South Racine when three males on bicycles approached, according to Chicago Police. One of them pulled out a gun and shot the man in the back and left leg.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, police said.
