A man was seriously wounded in a shooting early Tuesday in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 31-year-old was walking in the 300 block of West 113th Street at 2:27 a.m. when someone came out of an alley and started shooting, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the shoulder and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, police said.
