Man shot in arm on South Side

A man was shot Monday afternoon on the South Side.

The shooting happened at 2:11 p.m. in the 5100 block of South Prairie, according to Chicago Police.

The 36-year-old man was shot in the left arm and taken in good condition to the University of Chicago Medical Center, police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
