Man shot in Englewood

A 44-year-old man was shot Friday in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

About 12:34 a.m., the man was shot in the arm in the 6400 block of South Carpenter, Chicago Police said.

The man was taken in good condition to St. Bernard Hospital, police said.

Additional details were not immediately available.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
