Man shot in Park Manor

A man was shot Tuesday afternoon in the South Side Park Manor neighborhood.

The 26-year-old was standing on the corner at 1:56 p.m. in the 7100 block of South Rhodes when a group of people walking fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the left forearm and took himself to University of Chicago Medical Center, police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
