A man was shot Wednesday morning in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side.

About 8:50 a.m., the 25-year-old was working in the 300 block of East 51st Street when he saw a group of people and realized he’d been shot in his right forearm, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
