Man shot in Woodlawn

A man was shot Wednesday afternoon in the South Side Woodlawn neighborhood.

The 24-year-old was standing at 1:10 p.m. in the 600 block of East Marquette when someone emerged from the alley and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the right thigh and taken in good condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.
