A man was shot and seriously wounded early Sunday in the North Side Rogers Park neighborhood.

The 29-year-old was shot in the abdomen at 4:39 a.m. in the 6800 block of North Sheridan, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, where he was listed in serious condition, police said.
