Additional charges have been filed in what authorities say was a drunk-driving crash that left a 15-year-old boy dead and three others injured May 15 in Kankakee.

Carmella S. Larson, 33, was indicted Thursday on two counts of aggravated DUI resulting in a death and four counts of aggravated DUI resulting in great bodily harm, according to the Illinois State Police.

Larson, a St. Anne resident, was arrested Friday and is being held on $250,000 bail at the Jerome Combs Detention Center in Kankakee.

The police say she was driving on Route 17 and West Avenue and didn’t yield at the T-intersection before striking another car, killing Kameron Allison of Reddick, a freshman at Hercher High School.

The other driver — Allison’s 16-year-old brother — also was injured.
