A musician’s van was burglarized as she was performing at the City Winery in the West Loop Monday night.

Country artist Amanda Shires tweeted Monday that during her performance at the venue, located in the 1200 block of West Randolph, someone stole her MacBook computer, notebook and songwriting materials, ukulele and violin strings, among other things.

Chicago Police said the burglary was reported about 11:45 p.m. when a man returned to the vehicle and found its passenger side window was broken and property was taken from within.
