Chicago Police are investigating a series of burglaries at bars, restaurants and stores on the same Loop block over the last week.

According to a business alert issued Thursday, the four smash-and-grab-burglaries happened in the 100 block of West Van Buren:

— about 3 a.m. Sept. 13,

— between 1 and 5 a.m. Sept. 13,

— between 7 p.m. Sept. 12 and 4:30 a.m. Sept. 13, and

— about 3 a.m. Sept. 9.

The burglars took cash from registers, safes and vending machines. Police don’t have a description of any possible suspects.
