Several people suffered non life-threatening injuries after a man drove his vehicle into oncoming traffic on I-355 in west suburban Lisle Saturday night.

The crash happened about 10:50 p.m. on I-355 near the Maple Avenue exit, Illinois State Police said. The vehicle traveling the wrong way crashed into two other cars. Several people were taken to a hospital to treat injuries that “aren’t very serious,” according to police.

Lanes were briefly closed, but have since reopened. Police have not issued any citations, but are investigating.
