(GARY, Ind.) Two teenage boys were shot to death early Wednesday in northwest Indiana.

Javonte Bridges, 15; and Raphael J. Jones Jr., 18, each suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the 1200 block of West 40th Avenue in Gary, according to the Lake County coroner’s office.

Bridges, of the 4100 block of Buchanan Street in Gary, was pronounced dead at 3:15 a.m., according to the coroner’s office. Jones, of the 4000 block of Buchanan, was pronounced dead at 3:20 a.m.

Both of the deaths were ruled homicides.

Gary police are investigating.
