(WOODSTOCK) A 19-year-old man has been charged with two burglaries over the last two weeks in northwest suburban Woodstock.

Anthony T. Lemke was identified in surveillance footage as one of three people who entered the Woodstock Community Thrift Store, 780 S. Eastwood Drive, through an unlocked door during the evening hours on Tuesday, according to a statement from Woodstock police.

Lemke, 20-year-old Deonte Jamal Jones and a 17-year-old boy were caught on camera damaging two cash registers and taking $260, police said.

Lemke, of the 800 block of Washington Street in Woodstock, and Jones, of the 100 block of North Seminary Avenue in Woodstock, each were charged with felony counts of burglary and criminal damage to property as well as misdemeanor counts of damage to property. Jones also faces a misdemeanor count of resisting arrest, police said.

The 17-year-old was released to his guardian and referred to Court Services, the statement said.

Lemke faces another felony burglary charge for a Dec. 3 burglary of a home in the 300 block of Vine Street, where the front door was broken and $400 stolen, police said.

Lemke remains held on a $13,500 bond, and Jones is held on $2,650, according to the McHenry County Sheriff’s office. Their next court dates weren’t immediately known.
