Three men were shot, one fatally, at a party early Sunday on the Near West Side, police said.

The three were attending a party in a basement apartment at 3:10 a.m. in the 800 block of South Oakley when someone started shooting, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.

Kendall Deshon Warren, 24, was shot multiple times in the face and pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital at 3:54 a.m., according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. His home address was not released Monday evening.

A 33-year-old man was shot in the chest and back and taken to Stroger, Alfaro said. A 26-year-old man was shot in the abdomen and back and taken to Mount Sinai.

Both were listed in critical condition.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
