Dish Network and Comcast SportsNet Chicago have agreed to a short-term extension to keep the station on the air, Crain’s Chicago Business is reporting Tuesday.

The contract between the two parties was set to expire Tuesday. Had the contract not been extended, Bulls and Blackhawks telecasts would have been unavailable to Dish subscribers.

Crain’s is not yet reporting terms of the short-term deal.
