Police are searching for a missing 16-year-old West Side boy who was last seen on his way to school Tuesday on the Far South Side.

Trevon Grant of the 1400 block of South Kolin was last seen on his way to school Tuesday, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

He is described as a 5-foot-8, 137-pound black boy with black hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket with white lettering on the front, a white polo shirt, tan pants and red Nike gym shoes. He may also be carrying a black backpack.
