SHARE Lester thrilled to join Cubs, acknowledges upset Boston fans

New Cubs signee Jon Lester took to his Twitter account to announce he’s thrilled to join the Cubs and acknowledge disappointed Boston fans.

Lester, who spent his first nine years with the Red Sox, chose the Cubs’ six-year, $155 million offer over a bid that was a reported $20 million less from Boston.
