Man shot in Park Manor

A man was shot Friday night in the Park Manor neighborhood on the South Side.

The 26-year-old was standing on the sidewalk about 7:30 p.m. in the 400 block of East 71st Street when a male walked out of an alley and fired shots, police said.

The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to the shoulder, police said. His condition had stabilized.
