A woman was cited after a man plummeted to his death from a Wrigleyville apartment window during a party this week, police said.

Raquel Rodriguez, 21, was cited for 12 violations of “Social Hosting,” a section of the city’s municipal code that prohibits those of legal drinking age from providing minors with alcohol and a place to drink it, police said Friday.

About 2 a.m. Tuesday, 20-year-old Daniel McGovern fell from a window during a party in an apartment in the 3500 block of North Wilton, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

McGovern, of the 200 block of Gatesby Road in Riverside, was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 9:10 a.m., authorities said.

He died of multiple injuries from the fall and his death was ruled an accident, according to the medical examiner’s office.

Rodriguez is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 29.
