A Des Plaines man died Tuesday afternoon after he fell from a height while working in the Logan Square neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

Vasyl Grydzhan, 43, was discovered unresponsive in the 2500 block of West Medill at 2:05 p.m., according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Police said it appeared the man suffered an accidental fall while working.

Grydzhan, of the 9400 block of Bay Colony Drive in Des Plaines, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the medical examiner’s office. An autopsy Wednesday found he died of multiple injuries from the fall and ruled his death an accident.
