Chicago-trained comic Hannibal Buress usually plays the role of second banana on Adult Swim’s “The Eric Andre Show.” Tonight, though, he’ll sit behind the desk — eventually. Obligatory reference: Buress made headlines recently for helping to revive the burgeoning Bill Cosby scandal via remarks he made during a standup set in Philadelphia.

A former writer for “Saturday Night Live” and “30 Rock,” he honed his skills at Chicago clubs and recently taped a Comedy Central special at the Vic Theatre in Lakeview.
