The Goodman Theatre is set to open its much-anticipated revival of “Brigadoon” this Sunday, July 6. But there has been a last minute casting change in a major role.

Curt Bouril, who was to play the role of Jeff Douglas, the more cynical of two young New Yorkers who get lost during a hunting trip in the Scottish Highlands, has left the show as a result of “creative differences.” Stepping into the role is veteran Chicago actor Rod Thomas, who until now was playing the role of MacGregor. Rob Riddle will step in to play MacGregor.

All other casting remains the same.
