Report: Tina Fey’s sitcom scuttled at Fox

The Hollywood Reporter says Chicago-trained actor and writer Tina Fey’s project for Fox, “Cabot College,” is officially a no-go.

“The comedy set at a women’s college that begins admitting men for the first time was considered a frontrunner for a six-episode order under former Fox chairman Kevin Reilly in May,” the Reporter reports. “That all changed when Reilly stepped down” a few months ago.

But Fey and two members of her “Cabot” (and formerly “30 Rock”) producing team — David Miner and Robert Carlock — remain in the game at NBC, where their show “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” (starring “The Office’s” Ellie Kemper) is set to debut this fall.
