Loyola senior Logan Spurlin verbally committed to play baseball for Northern Kentucky, which will become a Division I program for the 2013 spring season and compete in the Ohio Valley Conference.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pound catcher was the Ramblers’ MVP as a junior after hitting .442 with seven homers and 34 RBI.
