(KENILWORTH) Metra trains on the Union Pacific / North Line were temporarily delayed during a stormy morning commute Wednesday when a tree fell on the tracks in north suburban Kenilworth.

Inbound trains were stopped at 7:38 a.m. near Kenilworth, according to Metra. Outbound trains were getting past the area with minimal delays.

Inbound train No. 316, scheduled to depart Winnetka at 7:30 a.m. and arrive in Chicago at 8:13 a.m. was canceled, Metra said. Passengers were accommodated by trains Nos. 318, 320 and 322.

All trains were on the move again at 7:54 a.m., but operating between 10 and 50 minutes behind schedule, according to the transit agency.
