(PORTER, Ind.) A 73-year-old man died Saturday after a bicycle accident in northwest Indiana.

Albert Green fell while riding a bicycle near Waverly Road and East Ballard Drive in Porter, Ind., the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. Porter police could not immediately comment on the accident or say when it occurred.

Green, of the 4300 block of East 73rd Avenue in Merilliville, Ind., was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 3:20 p.m. Saturday.

An autopsy performed Sunday found he died of head injuries from the fall. His death was ruled an accident.
