Bill Murray has spoken.

While rumors of an all-female “Ghostbusters” reboot have been circulating, the original Ghostbuster has a few choices for the cast. Murray is keen on “Bridesmaids” stars Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig as well as Emma Stone and Linda Cardellini.

He told the Toronto Star that McCarthy, his co-star in “St. Vincent,” is one of his preferred candidates for the role.

Melissa would be a spectacular Ghostbuster. And Kristen Wiig is so funny — God, she’s funny! He added, I like this girl Linda Cardellini [‘Mad Men’] a lot. And Emma Stone is funny. There are some funny girls out there.

The pair are in Toronto promoting the release of their new flick. McCarthy wasn’t certain if she’s the gal for the film, but happy to be in the company of the other super funny women Murray suggested.

“Oh, my God, that’s daunting. That’s taking on a legend, a legendary movie. But I would do anything with those ladies, anything at all.”

Catch the original flick during its 30th anniversary celebration in local theaters now.
