Man shot in Back of the Yards

A man was shot in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side on Friday evening.

About 6:50 p.m., the 20-year-old was standing on the street in the 5100 block of South Morgan when someone walked up and opened fire, police said.

He was struck in the hand and taken to Saint Bernard Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
