(PARK FOREST) A crash in south suburban Park Forest left one man injured early Friday and closed the eastbound lanes of U.S. 30 for more than four hours.

The single-vehicle crash happened about 2 a.m. on U.S. 30 at Indiana Street, Park Forest police said.

The man driving the vehicle was taken to Franciscan St. James Health in Olympia Fields, but his condition was not immediately known, according to the Park Forest Fire Department.

Eastbound lanes of U.S. 30 were closed to traffic until about 7:25 a.m., police said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
