Benedict Cumberbatch, fiancee expecting a baby

Benedict Cumberbatch’s legions of ladyfans have heard the rumors.

And they are true.

Cumberbatch and his fiancée, Sophie Hunter, are expecting their first child together.

“I am delighted to confirm that Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are expecting their first child. They are both over the moon,” his London-based rep said in a statement.

The rumors about a possible baby first surfaced during Hunter’s red-carpet appearance Saturday at the Palm Springs film festival, wearing a loose frock and a strategically placed purse.
