Bears wide receiver Eddie Royal and running back Matt Forte suffered injuries against the Vikings at Soldier Field on Sunday.

Forte suffered a right knee injury early in the third quarter. He was hit hard in his legs by Vikings safety Harrison Smith during a tackle on a screen play. Forte was examined on the sideline before walking to the locker room without assistance. He was later ruled out in the fourth quarter.

Royal, meanwhile, was deemed questionable to return late in the second quarter because of a knee injury. He was ruled out in the third quarter.

It’s unknown when Royal was hurt, but he caught three passes for two yards on screen plays in the first half. He watched the Bears’ final two possessions in the first half from the sideline. He did not have his helmet at that time.
